Hi! I’m Damyan and I’m from Sofia, the capital city of
Bulgaria. There are over a million people here, so the
1 tall buildings 2 wide streets city has got lots of hospitals, schools and big
supermarkets. There are tall buildings, but there are
traditional houses, too. There isn’t a big river in Sofia,
but there are two small bridges – Eagles’ Bridge and
Lions’ Bridge.
Sofia has got lots of fun places. There are beautiful
gardens and there is a huge park, Borisov Park, in the
centre of the city. There’s also a big cinema with 15
screens and 3,000 seats!

Sofia isn’t just my birthplace, it’s my favourite place!
