5 a) Look at the photo and read the title. What Predicting content
is the text about? Read to find out. The title of the text and the photos help us predict
what the text is about.
VIDEO
Kagai lives in a small village in Kenya. Every day he walks
to school. He doesn’t wear a uniform at school. He shares
books with two other boys, but he doesn’t mind. Kagai is
lucky because his school is the only one with electricity.
Lunch break is one of his favourite times because he eats
a hot meal at the school canteen. He does his homework
at school. When he goes home, he does chores like
fetching water and wood. There is no electricity at his
house. He goes to bed at 8 o’clock.
